A Qualified Valuator or Valuer is an individual who (a) is a professional who has demonstrated extensive experience in the valuation of fixed assets (b) has experience relevant to the subject fixed asset or has relied on a current technical report on the subject mineral property by a qualified person, and (c) is regulated by or is a member in good standing of a professional association or a self-regulatory professional organisation. The National Association of Valuators, Consultants and Analysts (NACVA) with headquarters in Salt Lake City in The United States is the world’s largest professional association of business valuation and litigation experts. The Certified Valuation Analysts (CVA), awarded by NACVA, is the world’s leading business valuation credential.
