The Intrinsic Value of a business or an asset is the value that an investor considers as the true value of the business entity or asset after considering all the facts available. The intrinsic value is the underlying value of a business which is quite often different from its market value or stock price. When other investors reach a similar conclusion, the intrinsic value will become the market value. The intrinsic value applies to individual economic units based on their circumstances and, as a result, differs substantially from values reached by other economic units.
